RADAR Care is an international project focused on transferring and scaling up proven elderly-care technologies to new regions of Central Europe. Its technological core combines radar-based monitoring with smart textiles to detect movement and potentially risky situations without cameras or other intrusive monitoring tools. Health Lab contributes to the integration of radar and smart-textile sensing technologies, their validation in Living Lab pilots, and the development of scalable, privacy-preserving solutions. The project also addresses cross-country differences in regulation, technical infrastructure and care-provider readiness. Expected outcomes include two pilot deployments, improved procedures for technology adoption and staff training, and a transferable approach that supports the safety, independence and dignity of older adults.
