The project is focused on research, development and implementation of a unique concept of a comprehensive wireless monitoring system based on modern knowledge and technologies in the field of Industry 4.0 and IoT, which will be used to measure high temperatures in thermally active mine dumps. The system will also allow autonomous and long-term measurement of concentrations of dangerous and aggressive gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, etc.
Measurements will be carried out in special measuring probes at given depth levels. Usually, measurements are taken at levels of 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 m below the terrain. The measured data will be sent to a secure cloud using wireless IoT technologies, where they will be stored in a database and visualized using the Grafana software.
